Financial Help

We know that not everyone is in a position to pay for a funeral up front, and some will need to seek help from places outside of family and friends. Mark especially is quite knowledgeable about seeking funding from the DWP and alternate sources, and he can help with any paperwork required. Please get in touch with any questions that you may have.

Social Distancing Funerals £2100

During this time of uncertainty and distress, we’ve put together a special package just for this period of social distancing. We’ve kept the cost at a low figure as we think that you shouldn’t have to pay for a full funeral if you’re unable to have one

The price includes:

  • A Burial or Cremation
  • The attendance of the Immediate Family
  • A Minister or Celebrant
  • A Traditional Hearse
  • A Coffin
  • Any applicable doctor’s fees
  • All of our professional and administration fees
  • The collection of the Remains and delivery to your home

Direct Cremation £1600

Direct Cremation is becoming more popular throughout the UK with families opting not to have a service; following in the footsteps of David Bowie in choosing not to go down a traditional route. The price includes the cost of cremation, the doctors fees, the collection and care of the person who has died, a coffin and scattering or delivery to your home of the cremated remains.

Direct Burial £1800

Direct Burial is very similar to a Direct Cremation in that there is no service, which means that a burial can take place just a few days after the person has died, if you so wish. This price includes the burial fee, the collection and care of the person who has died and a coffin. This does not include the purchase of a grave which is £900 for a Cardiff cemetery.

Pure Service Cremation £2100

A Pure Service Cremation is exactly as it says, purely a service at the crematorium. This is perfect for people who wanted a funeral service but didn’t want a fuss. The price includes a service at a crematorium chapel, a minister, the cost of the cremation, the doctors fees, the collection and care of the person who has died, a coffin and scattering or delivery to your home of the cremated remains.

Pure Service Burial £2150

A Pure Service Burial gives you the opportunity to say your goodbyes at the graveside with a service. Again perfect for people who didn’t want a fuss at the time of their burial. This price includes a graveside service, the burial fee, a minister, the collection and care of the person who has died and a coffin. If you would like a service in a crematorium chapel before as well, the cost of the chapel hire is an additional £300. This does not include the purchase of a grave which is £900 for a Cardiff cemetery.

Traditional Cremation £2620

Our traditional option available to you. A service at the crematorium with a traditional hearse to transport your loved one and a limousine for the family to brought to the service in style. This price also includes a service at a crematorium chapel, a minister, the cost of the cremation, the doctors fees, the collection and care of the person who has died, a coffin and scattering or delivery to your home of the cremated remains.

Traditional Burial £2820

The Traditional Burial is historically what is the customary funeral within the UK. The price quoted includes a service at the beautiful Cathays Chapels followed by a burial within a Cardiff Cemetery, however we can use whichever church or place of worship that holds a place in your heart. This price also covers the burial fee, a minister, the collection and care of the person who has died, and a coffin. This does not include the purchase of a grave which is £900 for a Cardiff cemetery.

Military Cremation £2800

As Neil was in the armed forces, he was adamant that we put together a service for those who served our country. This covers everything that is included in a traditional cremation as well as having standard bearers and the last post performed live by a bugler. It is also worth noting that this price will be reduced if the deceased received a medal for seeing conflict.

Military Burial £3000

The Military Burial option also includes everything that you get from a traditional burial with the inclusion of having standard bearers and the last post performed live by a bugler. Again this price will be reduced if the deceased received a medal for seeing conflict.

FAQs & Advice

A burial is when someone is laid to rest within a grave. Cremation is when the person is cremated.
We understand things can change so as long as you let us know ASAP, we will always endeavour to make any changes you request.
Disbursements are essentially third party costs, the most common within a funeral being the burial or cremation fee, minister and doctors fees. Unlike most funeral directors, we include these within our fee to simplify the costs.
